Long water bath with adjustable water level and temperature ensures thorough cooling of strands before cutting.
Suitable for PE, PP, PET, PLA, ABS, PVC, and many other thermoplastics. Ideal for both recycling and compounding.
The strand pelletizer consists of 5 main components
Single-screw or twin-screw extruder melts and homogenizes the material, extruding continuous strands through a multi-hole die.
Long cooling water bath (3–8 meters) with adjustable water level, temperature control, and strand guide rollers.
Pneumatic or motorized strand haul-off unit with rubber rollers to pull strands at constant speed from water bath to cutter.
Precision rotary pelletizer with hardened steel rotor and fixed bed knife. Adjustable cutting length from 2–6 mm.
PLC control with synchronized speed adjustment between extruder, haul-off, and cutter for consistent pellet length.
